I want to pursue my postgraduate studies in film production with a focus specifically on film editing. As a career, I am inclined towards teaching film editing because I want to tip the scales, alongside freelancing as an editor. My other passions include music and playing video games.

Description
It’s a thesis film that aims at telling a story that is very personal to me. A story that many people do not know and must know before they would judge me. The story surrounds the protagonist, Ali, who is in a dilemma to accept his trauma to move on further. The trauma of growing up in an abusive household where his father was abusive to his mother. The aim of this thesis is to raise awareness among the masses that domestic abuse is a REAL issue and one should work towards it. In Design Research 1, I explored how domestic abuse can be categorized and elaborated on key concepts such as marital rape, victim blaming, and emotional abuse coming under domestic abuse as well. My findings not only equipped me with the right knowledge but have shaped me personally to be a better human being.
